Trainings on communication with children and combating addiction were provided

Üsküdar University carried out two training programs in cooperation with different institutions to establish healthy communication with children and to raise awareness against addiction risks in the early period. In the programs, where Clinical Psychologist Edibe Serra Erol took part as a speaker, effective communication methods with children, risks that may be encountered during developmental periods, and the importance of behavior management were discussed.

Effective communication methods with children were explained to teachers

A seminar titled “Effective Communication Methods with Children” was organized for teachers in cooperation with Üsküdar University and Sultanbeyli Municipality. In the program held at Sultanbeyli Municipality Child Development Center, the fundamental elements of establishing healthy and effective communication with children were emphasized.

In the seminar, where Clinical Psychologist Edibe Serra Erol participated as a speaker, the importance of adults' approach in communication processes with children was discussed.

In the program, which highlighted communication approaches that teachers can utilize in their professional practices, a communication understanding that supports children's ability to express their feelings and thoughts was evaluated.

Early period addiction risks and behavior management were evaluated

Üsküdar University also provided training within the scope of the “Trainer Training Program” organized by the Istanbul Mufti's Office Anti-Addiction Coordinators. In the program held at the Istanbul Provincial Mufti's Office Conference Hall, Clinical Psychologist Edibe Serra Erol presented a training titled “Early Period Addiction Risks and Behavior Management.”

The training addressed the importance of early detection of addiction risks and the role of behavior management in this process. Emphasizing the importance of raising awareness about risks that may arise, especially during developmental periods, the program focused on the significance of an early approach and correct guidance in combating addiction.

Topics supporting children's development were discussed

The training programs conducted by Üsküdar University in cooperation with different institutions brought together various topics, ranging from communication with children to the early detection of addiction risks. 

Through the programs, information was shared on communication approaches that support children's developmental processes and on raising awareness against risks.
