Within the scope of the protocol signed between Üsküdar University and the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate, the Istanbul Provincial Health Directorate launched the “Applied Trainer Training” program for its expert personnel across all units. The training program, supported by innovative educational games, is conducted by Dr. Lecturer Nebiye Yaşar, Director of Üsküdar University’s Young Brains Academy.
With the Trainer Training program, it is aimed for trainers to become competent in many areas.
In the “Applied Trainer Training” program, which will last for 5 days, participants are aimed to gain the necessary knowledge and skills to use training and teaching methods, techniques, and materials, along with innovative application methods. Additionally, it is among the goals for them to acquire knowledge about topics such as learning theories, learning styles, learning problems, learning environments, learning skills, and values education.
They will be entitled to a certificate…
In addition to all these applications, it is planned to ensure their specialization in topics such as designing learning environments, preparing learning materials, planning learning activities, and measurement and evaluation methods. Participants who successfully complete the “Applied Trainer Training” program are entitled to receive a certificate issued by the Üsküdar University Continuing Education Center.
It is aimed for leading healthcare managers to develop their leadership styles and form creative teams.
As a result of this training, participants are aimed to; establish effective communication within the training process and the institution, plan training on a designated institutional topic and practically conduct the planned training, utilize appropriate presentation techniques, and develop visual and auditory materials suitable for the training's purpose.
Among the objectives of the training is for participants in the “Trainer Trainings” to acquire skills in: using teaching models and methods appropriate for their learning styles, evaluating the training conducted with appropriate assessment tools and methods, and providing feedback on the effectiveness and efficiency of the training, understanding the fundamental characteristics of adult education, and being able to report the entire process in line with the institution's goals.
