Top 3 announced in the Innovative Ideas Marathon…

The final of the project named “Innovative Ideas Marathon,” a project of the Üsküdar Üniversitesi IEEE Student Branch Club, was held. Implemented with the contributions of Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Üsküdar Municipality, and Atölye Üsküdar, and mentored by the Young Brains Academy Application and Research Center and the Department of Health, Culture and Sports for club representatives, the winner of the project was announced.

Meryem Doğan: "We are proud as the IEEE student club"

Meryem Doğan, one of the team members coordinating the project, delivered the opening speech. Doğan said: "Today, we are happy to be together on the eagerly awaited final day of the Innovative Ideas Marathon. Among our project executors are the esteemed Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Üsküdar Municipality, and Atölye Üsküdar institutions. We, as the IEEE student club, are proud to be able to realize this marathon with the support of these valuable institutions. We also extend our thanks to the Üsküdar Üniversitesi SKS Directorate."

Dinçer Atlı: "Entrepreneurship is a topic of increasing importance"

Speaking on behalf of the Young Brains Academy, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinçer Atlı, a faculty member in Advertising at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication, stated: "Entrepreneurship is a topic of increasing importance. Universities worldwide and in Turkey have started to become significant players in the entrepreneurship ecosystem. In fact, universities are now progressing towards the mission of being entrepreneurial universities. At this point, the importance of ventures that produce high value-added products and services is constantly growing. We see that the place of start-ups within the entrepreneurship system, especially in today's technology-based companies, has allowed large ventures that started in garages and later surpassed national economies to reach these points."

Melike Ağça Demirel: "Our aim is the advancement of entrepreneurship in our country"

Melike Ağça Demirel from Atölye Üsküdar, one of the competition stakeholders and a sponsor of many, stated: "As Atölye Üsküdar, we provide training, equipment support, mentoring, and investor matching services to entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, or friends who want to participate in national-international competitions like TEKNOFEST. Our goal is the advancement of entrepreneurship in our country and for every young person to benefit from our services. For this reason, we conduct joint studies as much as possible in our universities and non-governmental organizations. We especially thank our teacher Nebiye for introducing us to our young friends for today's event."

Bilal Deniz Özcan: "A very nice slogan was used to set out"

Bilal Deniz Özcan, Director of Strategy Development at Üsküdar Municipality, who is always by the side of young people and students with the slogan 'İyi ki Üsküdar Var' ('It's good that Üsküdar exists') and offers opportunities to students in competitions, said: "We are here representing Atölye Üsküdar more than Üsküdar Municipality. All municipal services are under one roof. When we look at it, there are services appealing to all segments of Üsküdar, but what we care about most here are the services provided for you, the young people, and Atölye Üsküdar is one of the efforts that might shed light on your future and provide support. A very nice slogan was used to set out. When we look at 'Fikir Maratonu' (Idea Marathon) both semantically and in its implementation, it truly is a name that describes everything necessary for an idea, an initiative, to take shape. We tried to follow the process as much as we could, from its inception to its execution and even to this final. Both the ideas and your efforts, as far as they were conveyed to us or at least as far as I could follow, truly contain very beautiful ideas. I hope this becomes a beginning in your lives. Life itself is an endeavor. The more you can develop your life by evaluating resources appropriately and in line with your own ideas and ideals, the smoother and more advanced your life will become. Therefore, I wish you success in university, which is one of the steps in this life endeavor."

After the opening speeches, ten contestants in the Innovative Ideas Marathon presented their projects before a jury consisting of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Asst. Prof. Dr. Cihan Taştan, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Asst. Prof. Dr. Tuğçe Ballı Altuğlu, Melike Ağça Demirel from Atölye Üsküdar, and Üsküdar Municipality Director of Strategy Development Bilal Deniz Özcan.

Following the project presentations, the Üsküdar Üniversitesi Music Club took the stage. While the club's live performance was enjoyed, the jury members announced the top three winning contestants after their mini-concert.

In the Innovative Ideas Marathon, İrem Yıldız Yücebaş ranked first with her 'StetoGuard' project,

Ömer Kara placed second with his 'Thermal Battery' project,

and Bilal Uzunkaya came in third with his 'Careermote' project.

The program concluded with group photos and a dessert treat.
