Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences Child Development Department Lecturer Ümit Ertem participated in a study on behalf of the “Violence and Crime Combat Application Research Center” within the scope of the “Civilian Oversight Strengthening Project of the Internal Security Sector Phase III”.
Lecturer Ümit Ertem gave a message on behalf of violence against women in the video prepared for the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (November 25)”. Ertem said; “Do not consent to violence, say stop!”
To support the organized study, Çorlu District Governor Cafer Sarılı, Head of the Çorlu Branch of the Women's Rights Protection Association Feraye Karagöz, Istanbul Bar Association Women's Rights Center Deputy Head, Lawyer Birsen Bastopaloğlu, along with many NGO organizations, and important figures from the Local Prevention and Security Board members participated.
