Üsküdar Üniversitesi's success in research and education activities has also been certified by the international ranking organization Times Higher Education (THE). While the work carried out under the '4-Quality Education' label was acknowledged by THE, its success in R&D studies, particularly in the field of health sciences, was further reinforced with the '3-Good Health & Well Being' label. Furthermore, Üsküdar Üniversitesi had ranked 4th among foundation universities in Turkey in the "Research Index" ranking, conducted by Scimago Rankings via its Scopus database.

What Does Times Higher Education Aim For?
Times Higher Education (THE) evaluates the social and economic impact of universities worldwide in line with the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).
It evaluates the work towards sub-goals defined for each goal, and universities deemed successful as a result of the evaluation earn the right to receive the relevant label.
