Seyyid Mahmut Nebati: “Our main goal is to offer passengers what they need”

Turkish Airlines Catering and In-flight Products President Seyyid Mahmut Nebati stated that Turkish Airlines is the company that flies to the most destinations in aviation. Nebati said: “We fly all over the world. Turkish Airlines is the company that flies to the most destinations in aviation. Our main goal is to provide passengers with what they need as they travel from A to B. Our fundamental aim is to do whatever is necessary to ensure our passengers complete their journey in the most satisfied way, without them feeling the travel, so that they choose us again. A passenger boarding a plane pays attention to sleep kits, bags, movies, and the internet. Toys are one of these. In this sense, toys are one of our prominent products. When you give a child a toy, you're not just giving it to them; their mother and father also observe. To say that we are proceeding under the guidance of experts in a special field like children gives us both pride and confidence. In this process, I extend my sincere thanks to Üsküdar University, under the leadership of our Üsküdar University Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, and to Prof. Dr. Nurper Ülküer, as the head of the Child Development Department, and her team for their scientific contributions to us during the toy selection and planning process.”

Üsküdar University Founding Rector Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, who examined materials such as books and toys prepared by THY for children during the flight, expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation and the visit.

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan: “In our culture, gift-giving is the language of love…”

Tarhan emphasized that, with the current state of science, everything is becoming digitalized, and highlighted that the project being worked on could be digitized. Tarhan said: “This work must be vibrant, dynamic, and open to development. It should be able to be developed based on feedback. Previously, it was said that everything is digital; now, at the point where science has arrived, everything has become digital. Therefore, if it is digitized, it could be more beneficial. There are corporate customer loyalty studies. At the forefront of these studies is a person feeling affection for the place they receive service from and feeling valued. Secondly, there must be a sense of trust regarding the future. Thirdly, comes the fee paid. In our culture, gift-giving is the language of love. Since it is not common in Western culture, our generosity comes as a big surprise to them. Therefore, people feel valued; love is related to feeling valued. I congratulate you for thinking of this.”

After the group photo session, the visit concluded.
