Seyyid Mahmut Nebati: “Our main goal is to provide our passengers with an enjoyable experience beyond their expectations at every stage of their journey”
Turkish Airlines Catering and In-flight Products President Seyyid Mahmut Nebati stated that Turkish Airlines is the company that flies to the most destinations in aviation. Nebati said; “We fly all over the world. Turkish Airlines is the company that flies to the most destinations in aviation. Our main goal is to combine our innovative steps with customer satisfaction to ensure our passengers have an enjoyable journey beyond their expectations when going from A to B. Our primary aim is to do whatever is necessary for the passenger to complete their journey in a way that makes them most satisfied and choose us again, without even realizing it. A passenger boarding the plane pays attention to the products and services we offer, such as food, beverages, sleep sets, travel kits, movies, music, and thousands of other contents available on the Planet in-flight entertainment platform, and internet. Especially for our child passengers, toys are one of our prominent products in this sense. When you give a child a toy, you're not just giving it to them; their mother and father are also observing. To say that we are operating under the guidance of experts in such a special project gives us both pride and confidence. In this process, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Üsküdar University, under the leadership of our esteemed Professor Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Founding Rector of Üsküdar University, and to Prof. Dr. Nurper Ülküer, Head of the Child Development Department, and her team for their scientific contributions in the toy selection and planning process, for their voluntary support.”
Üsküdar University Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, who examined materials such as books and toys prepared by THY for children during flights, expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation and visit.
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan: “In our culture, gift-giving is the language of love…”
Emphasizing that everything is becoming digitalized with the current state of science, Tarhan highlighted that the project being worked on could be digitalized. Tarhan said; “This work should be alive, dynamic, and developable. It should be developable based on feedback. Previously, it was said that everything is digital; now, at the point science has reached, everything has become digital. Therefore, it might be more beneficial if it is digitalized. There are corporate customer loyalty studies. The first priority in these studies is for the person to feel love towards the place they receive service from and to feel valued. Second is the feeling of trust regarding the future. Third comes the fee they pay. In our culture, gift-giving is the language of love. Since it is not common in Western culture, our generosity comes as a big surprise to them. For this reason, people feel valued; love is related to feeling valued. I congratulate you for considering this.”

The visit concluded after a group photo session.
