Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that he experienced both sadness and pride simultaneously after listening to the students who recounted their experiences with the people of Hatay, who are still struggling to recover after the earthquake disaster, and with the students themselves.

“Silent kindness is the highest quality and supreme form of kindness.”

Tarhan stated that the power of social solidarity has always been one of humanity's most important values, noting that one of the most concrete examples of these values is the aid work carried out by the Haydi Tut Elimi Association in cooperation with Üsküdar University for children and families in Hatay. Tarhan said; “Silent kindness is the highest quality and supreme form of kindness.”

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that every place in the earthquake zone will remain valuable and important, adding that Üsküdar University has provided various forms of aid and support to the provinces in the earthquake zone since last year, gaining unforgettable experiences.

Tarhan pointed out that these acts of kindness serving as an example for people today and in the future is important, and that encouraging others to participate in such aid efforts would also be significant.
