The 'Salad Cafe Exhibition' was opened by Industrial Engineering students from Üsküdar Üniversitesi's Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. The exhibition, held by fourth-year engineering students at the Central Campus Cafeteria, was implemented as part of the Statistical Quality Control Application course.
Head of Industrial Engineering Department Prof. Dr. Mehmet Savsar, Assist. Prof. Dr. Murat Anlı, Assist. Prof. Dr. Nigar Kantarcı Çarşıbaşı, Assist. Prof. Dr. Münire Berna Beşkese, and Assist. Prof. Dr. Orkun Kozanoğlu participated in the exhibition.
Within the scope of the entrepreneurial movement initiated after the pandemic period to strengthen people's immune systems with correct and healthy nutritional values, the 'Salad Cafe Exhibition' was launched. In the project, developed with the idea of producing salads with high nutritional value at low cost, students drew attention to the importance of consuming salad by presenting the best design.
Students, emphasizing the importance of consuming nutrient-rich salads, explained their goals as; “We are striving to instill the habit of low-cost salad consumption in individuals.”

The exhibition, which attracted significant interest from academics and students, concluded after various salad tastings and a photo shoot.
