With the announcement of exam results, excitement has reached its peak. It's not easy; they will make perhaps the most important decisions of their lives. The choice they make will determine their future lives. That's why young university candidates are very excited. There are a lot of questions in their minds, and the answers are not easy at all. The exam phase was difficult, of course, but the decision phase is much more challenging, especially for the indecisive.

At this stage, making the right choice is crucial. I'd like to share a few key points for the right choice with university candidates.
- The starting point for the right choice is to know ourselves or to re-acquaint ourselves with ourselves. To do this, let's review our entire lives, starting from our childhood. Let's recall the moments when we felt happy or unhappy. Let's re-analyze retrospectively what situations and things we enjoyed. Let's think once more in great detail about what we want to do, what we can do, what we couldn't do, our aspirations, dreams, and ideals. Let's put our inclinations and talents on the table once again. Let's strive to analyze our mental, psychological, emotional, biological, and physiological characteristics in detail and set our goals accordingly. Our emotions are important here, of course, but let's also analyze our talents, potential capacity, and inclinations under the guidance of reason so that we can set our goals more realistically.
Go where your heart leads, guided by your mind
Let's not forget, this life is ours. Family members, friends, teachers, etc., in our social circle will certainly set goals for us and be eager to chart a course for us in university, department, and career selection. Let's not disregard them; let's listen to them, value their opinions and suggestions, and benefit from their experiences. But let's not forget that this life is ours, and the decision we make will, of course, primarily affect us. Therefore, let's first listen to our inner voice, set out to go where our heart leads, but always make this journey under the guidance of our mind. Our emotions are important, but only with the direction of our mind can we make sound decisions and the right choices.

Every profession is important and equally respectable. Therefore, all fields and departments in education are equally important and respectable. No profession is inferior to another. For this reason, instead of classifying professions and departments by order of importance and respectability, it would be more appropriate to classify them according to the needs of the world and country we live in, and their job and employment potential. To do this, our country's employment resources, job opportunities, growth targets, sectors that have entered a path of progress, and future needs must be analyzed very well, and profession and department choices should be made accordingly. But here, of course, let's never disregard our own talents, inclinations, and potential capacity.

One of the most important points to consider when choosing a university is the academic staff. Young university candidates should examine the academic staff of the university and department they will choose, and if possible, visit the university campuses to meet and talk with academics.
