Both need to be treated separately…

Prof. Dr. Sermin Kesebir pointed out that the term Bipolar EEG has a double meaning; “The first is inspired by the mood disorder we call bipolar disorder, in which periods of depression and mania follow each other and coexist. The second is inspired by the two-pole structure of EEG. The harmony between slow and fast waves. Everything in nature exists with its opposite. Night, day, summer, and winter… And the two poles of the self: the enthusiastic and passionate grandiose self, and the idealized parental image that restrains, legislates, comforts, and soothes. Our talents and skills, our joy of life, and our capacity for work arise from the harmony of these two. When we get sick, we fall ill both mentally and physically, and both need to be treated separately.” she stated.
