The path to the right choice has begun with "Life is a Choice"!

With the announcement of the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) results, which will shape the future of millions of candidates, attention has turned to the preference period starting on July 29. In this critical period, most needed by candidates and their families, Üsküdar University's traditional "Hayat Tercihtir"  (Life is a Choice) program brings together Türkiye's leading academics in their fields on the same screens. 

As one of the longest-running and most comprehensive guidance programs of the preference period, "Hayat Tercihtir" (Life is a Choice)  meets viewers on Üsküdar University's YouTube channel and ÜÜTV with its distinguished staff, ranging from Prof. Nevzat Tarhan to Prof. Sevil Atasoy, and from Prof. Nazife Güngör to Prof. Deniz Ülke Kaynak.

After the announcement of the YKS results on July 21, 2026, millions of university candidates will shape their futures by making their university and department preferences between July 29 and August 10, 2026. "Hayat Tercihtir" (Life is a Choice) , prepared for young people who will make one of the most important decisions of their lives, aims to be a reliable companion during the preference process.

The program, which has been followed with great interest by candidates for many years, brings together distinguished names from the academic world this year as well. Many topics of interest to candidates, from university preference to career choice, from career planning in the age of artificial intelligence to future professions, from psychological resilience to campus life, are discussed with the evaluations of expert names.

Prepared by Üsküdar University and moderated by Journalist Şaban Özdemir and Eda Nur Keçeci, the program not only provides information to candidates during the preference period; it also guides them to make more conscious decisions that will shape their future.

This year, "Hayat Tercihtir"  (Life is a Choice) draws attention with its strong academic staff.
