Üsküdar University, which stands out with its strategic initiatives in the field of intellectual property and innovation, became Turkey’s pride in patent rankings both in Europe and worldwide with the latest announced data. Üsküdar University, which ranks at the top with 9 patent applications and 7 registrations in European Patent applications, became Turkey’s representative in the global innovation league by entering the top 20 in the 2025 PCT World Champion Universities list.

Üsküdar University elevated its academic productivity to an international dimension with its achievements in rankings based on European Patent Office (EPO) data. In this context:

European Patent Applications: With a total of 9 applications, it succeeded in becoming one of Turkey’s leading universities with the most patent applications.

European Patent Registrations: Focusing on concrete outcomes beyond applications, Üsküdar University proved its strong performance in this field with 7 patent registrations.

“PCT Championship” in the global league

Üsküdar University demonstrated its global competitiveness by entering the top 20 most successful universities in Turkey with 9 international applications made in 2025 in the “PCT Champion Universities” list.
