The 2nd National Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress was held by Erzurum Technical University, Faculty of Science, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics. Üsküdar University Advisor to the Rector, Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics faculty member Prof. Muhsin Konuk attended the congress. Konuk, who made a presentation titled "Pharmacogenetics as an Approach to Translational Science: The Case of Üsküdar University", attracted great interest from the participants.

The case of Üsküdar attracted great attention at the National Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress

More than 400 students from universities such as Kars Caucasus University, Van Yüzüncü Yıl University, Malatya İnönü University and Karadeniz Technical University attended the congress held at Erzurum Technical University.

The National Molecular Biology and Genetics Student Congress, which was held for the second time this year within the scope of the project submitted to the University Student Societies Cooperation and Support Program (UNIDES), brought together students, academics and researchers from all over Turkey under the same roof. In this context, scientific sessions, oral and poster presentations were made with experts.

Konuk, who made a presentation titled "Pharmacogenetics as an Approach to Translational Science: The Case of Üsküdar University" at the congress, talked about the opportunities and studies at Üsküdar University.
During the two-day congress, solutions offered by molecular biology and genetics in various fields such as health, agriculture, environment, microbiology and industry were discussed with the presentations of students in scientific sessions.
