Üsküdar University made a significant contribution to the protection of natural assets by enabling the recycling of thousands of kilograms of used paper in 2024 and 2025 within the scope of its environmental awareness and sustainability efforts. Due to its sensitivity in this area, a certificate of appreciation was presented by the TEMA Foundation to Üsküdar University.

3,760 kg of paper recycled in 2025

A total of 3,760 kg of used paper was collected from Üsküdar University's Çarşı, Sağlık, and Altunizade Central Campuses by Sadık Kağıtçılık Firması in 2025 and recycled.

The income generated from the recycling process was donated to the TEMA Foundation on behalf of Üsküdar University.

3,130 kg of paper had been recycled in 2024

A total of 3,130 kg of used paper had been recycled throughout 2024 by Özel Kağıtçılık Firması from the Çarşı Campus, Sağlık Campus, Altunizade Central Campus, Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences, and Güney Campus.

The income generated from this recycling process was again donated to the TEMA Foundation on behalf of Üsküdar University.

Contribution to nature and sustainability awareness

A certificate of appreciation was presented by the TEMA Foundation to Üsküdar University for its contributions, as it continues its efforts with environmental and recycling sensitivity. 

In the letters sent, it was stated that the contributions provided by Üsküdar University would be used for combating erosion, afforestation efforts, and the protection of natural assets. 

The recycling support provided by the university for two years holds great importance for strengthening environmental awareness and leaving a more livable world for future generations.
