Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founder Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan was a guest on an Instagram live broadcast organized by Timaş Yayın Grup specifically for Women's Day. In the program, which focused on his book 'Kadın Psikolojisi' (Women's Psychology), Tarhan stated that there is no superiority between women and men, and drew attention to the psychological and biological differences between the two sexes.

In the broadcast moderated by TRT Diyanet Tv presenter Zahide Ülkü Bakiler, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, touching upon his reason for writing the book "Kadın Psikolojisi" (Women's Psychology), said, "I wrote the book in 2001 in New York, when the Twin Towers collapsed as a female imam was leading prayer in a mosque, and in 2003, when military action against Saddam was to be carried out in Iraq. At that time, I thought there was a plan involving women. Women and men, although equal, possess psychological and biological differences. I wanted to provide scientific data to those who advocate this view, and based on that, I wrote my book 'Kadın Psikolojisi'."

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, referring to information he obtained from the World Health Organization, stated, "Currently, they explicitly say 'sexual identity is formed through social construction, there is no genetic necessity.' There is a genderlessness project in the world. This is a plan organized by global powers to halt the world population. Currently, the powerful are trying to dominate the world. Imperialism has officially turned into voluntary imperialism. What is happening seems like a plan to empower women, and it certainly has its justifiable aspects. The secondary status of women is not present in our belief system either, but feminists have turned the entire issue into a women-men war instead of liberating women-men relations."
"Women Should Express Their Counter-Opinion"
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that women sometimes disregard their personal boundaries, and said, "Women sometimes perceive patience as 'being withdrawn' and their mental health deteriorates. Men, accustomed to always taking, become selfish. They start to disregard their spouse's feelings. They turn to other pursuits. The ability of a woman to express her own opinion against her spouse's rightful and reasonable requests increases her self-esteem."
"Men Should Understand Women's Psychology"
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, stating that some men do not understand women's psychology, said, "It is wrong for men to act in a results-oriented manner when making decisions as a management system. In such situations, one needs to get to the root cause. It's common in medicine: treatment without diagnosis is just palliative care. Parenting and spouse education should be taught in schools. The education system is generally focused on academic success, but this is wrong; children should also be educated on how to be good people."
