Nevzat & Nermin Tarhan Human Values and Mental Health Foundation was honored with a plaque for its beneficial activities to society. Prof. Dr. İlham Miraç, a RİNAP Board Member, attended the Foundations 2nd Regional Directorate meeting, which was attended by over 40 foundation representatives, representing Üsküdar University. The plaque was presented to Miraç by Regional Director Arif Özsoy.

In the meeting of the Istanbul Foundations 2nd Regional Directorate, attended by over 40 foundation representatives, the Nevzat & Nermin Tarhan Human Values and Mental Health Foundation was honored with a plaque for its activities beneficial to society.
The meeting was held at the Üsküdar General Directorate of Foundations Istanbul 2nd Regional Directorate.
Prof. Dr. İlham Miraç from the Foreign Languages Coordination Office attended the meeting, representing Üsküdar University.
Health and education activities were introduced
At the meeting, the TARHAN-İDER Foundation's activities in health and education, including NP Medical Centers, were presented, alongside Üsküdar University, which started its establishment efforts in 2010 and currently provides education to 25 thousand students.
On the other hand, attention was drawn to the printing, publishing, and distribution activities of books written by Üsküdar University Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, all proceeds of which are donated to the foundation, covering psychological, sociological, family, marriage, etc., topics that closely concern society.
Additionally, information was provided about the activities of the Risale-i Nur Research Platform (RİNAP) at the meeting.
Attention drawn to the Universal Human Values and Rights Manifesto
Prof. Dr. İlham Miraç, a RİNAP Board Member who attended the meeting representing Üsküdar University, also provided information about student scholarships and aid provided to those in need. Miraç also highlighted that the Universal Human Values and Rights Manifesto has been signed by 400 thousand people and 200 universities. At the meeting, it was proposed to prepare certified programs on human values within Üsküdar University.
