TANPA President Prof. Tarhan's message on US Independence Day: 'Our scientific bridges will continue to strengthen'

President of the Turkish American Neuropsychiatrists Association (TANPA) and President of Üsküdar University Prof. Nevzat Tarhan published a congratulatory message on the occasion of the United States' July 4th Independence Day. In his message regarding the 250th anniversary of US Independence, Tarhan highlighted the historical friendship between the two countries and the importance of scientific collaborations, emphasizing the contribution of joint studies in the field of neuropsychiatry to global health. Tarhan said, 'Our scientific bridges will continue to strengthen.'  

"We are walking towards common goals in the universal light of science"

Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the United States' independence, pointed to the value of academic exchanges between the two countries. In his message, Tarhan said, "As the Turkish American Neuropsychiatrists Association (TANPA), I sincerely congratulate the United States, with whom we collaborate scientifically, on its July 4th Independence Day. As scientists from two countries united by the universal language of science and medicine, we are greatly honored to work shoulder to shoulder for the common well-being of humanity. We are walking towards common goals in the universal light of science," he stated.

Intercontinental cooperation in neuropsychiatry 

Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, pointing out that TANPA is a strong platform bringing together mental health professionals between Turkey and the USA, explained the significance of this bridge in the medical world with the following words: 

"Our association has made it its mission to integrate the latest developments in neuroscience and psychiatry into the academic vision of both countries through mutual knowledge and technology transfer. This strong bond we have established with our esteemed colleagues in the United States is deepening every day through joint clinical research and innovative educational approaches. Our scientific bridges will continue to strengthen."

"We will continue to work together for global mental health"

Prof. Nevzat Tarhan, reiterating his belief in future projects and a common vision, concluded his message with the following good wishes: 

"We believe that this scientific friendship and intellectual exchange, transcending borders, plays a key role in producing innovative solutions at a global level. On this special day, I wish all our esteemed colleagues in the USA and the American people a future full of peace, health, and tranquility; and I hope that our scientific collaboration will continue to grow. We will continue to work together for global mental health…"
