Within the scope of studies conducted in cooperation with Üsküdar Üniversitesi, Kadıköy Municipality Alzheimer Center, and the Kadıköy Branch of the Turkish Alzheimer's Association, a "Support Meeting for Alzheimer's Patient Relatives" was organized under the leadership of Dr. Lecturer İdil Arasan Doğan from the Institute of Social Sciences at Üsküdar Üniversitesi. During the meeting, relatives of patients were informed about the Alzheimer's process, behavioral symptoms, care methods, and psychosocial support. Support meetings will be held at the end of each month throughout the academic term.

Dr. Lecturer İdil Arasan Doğan, also a Board Member of the Alzheimer's Association, emphasized the importance of support mechanisms to patient relatives and stressed that caregivers should first focus on their own mental health.
At the meeting, where a common understanding was reached, patient relatives left with a sense of well-being provided by being understood and sharing with others.
