Students of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services Opticianry Program attended the ‘Opticworld Optik, Eyewear, Ophthalmology and Technologies Fair’ with Opticianry Program Head Lect. Ömer Faruk Okuyucu and accompanying students. IOGO President Lect. Ayhan Demircan and Lect. Begüm Genç also participated in the fair, which was held for the first time this year. Students had the opportunity to both get to know the leading companies in the sector and to gain information on how production, import, and export are carried out in a sectoral sense.

At the fair held in İzmir, students had the opportunity to see, compare, and examine many things in practice. Information regarding newly released products and domestic production was also followed.
Students also had the opportunity to see a wide variety of eyewear, contact lenses, lens technologies, ophthalmology, and sectoral machinery, equipment, tools, and consumables all together.

A beneficial fair for following changes and transformations…
Lect. Ömer Faruk Okuyucu, Head of the Opticianry Program at Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services, stated that the fair, being held for the first time, was a beneficial fair visit both for the participants and for contributing to the sector, as well as for following new updates, changes, and transformations within the sector.
Okuyucu observed that despite being the first fair held in İzmir, it was good, and similar opinions emerged during consultations with participating circles and leading NGO executives of the sector.
They Had the Opportunity to Get to Know Leading Companies in the Sector…
At the fair, which also attracted the interest of Opticianry program students, students had the opportunity to both get to know the leading companies in the sector and to gain information on how production, import, and export are carried out in a sectoral sense.
On the other hand, as with every fair, students who had the chance to converse with opinion leaders and NGO executives of the sector expressed their thanks to Üsküdar University and IOGO, the organizers, after the fair.
