Students' Efforts to Become a Library for Children in Ağrı

An event titled “Attention: There's a Library in This School” was organized by the Üsküdar University Faculty of Communication. At the event, students came together around art, music, and social responsibility awareness. Within the scope of the event, the children's book titled “Attention! There's a Library in This Village,” prepared by students, was introduced, while the bag painting workshop, live music performance, and bazaar organization attracted significant interest. It was stated that all proceeds from the event and book sales would be used for the library to be established in Ağrı Ortaca Village Primary School.
 

The event, held for two days at Üsküdar University South Campus, garnered significant interest. 

The event was organized under the mentorship of Faculty of Communication, Advertising Department faculty members Assoc. Prof. Burak Çeber and Asst. Prof. Nihal Toros Ntapiapis. Within the scope of the project, the children's storybook titled “Attention! There's a Library in This Village,” prepared by students, was presented to the participants.

The Book Born from Students' Pens and Drawings

In the project prepared with a sense of social responsibility, the texts and illustrations of the children's storybook were entirely prepared by Üsküdar University students. The drawings exhibited at the event area were presented to visitors on easels.

It was also stated that the proceeds from the sales of the book titled “Attention! There's a Library in This Village” would be used for the library planned to be established in Ağrı Ortaca Village Primary School.

Bag Painting Workshop Attracted Great Interest

The bag painting workshop held on the first day of the event saw intense participation from students. Participants created unique works by reflecting their own designs onto canvas bags with colorful paints. 

The banner displayed at the event area, stating “Attention! There's a Library in This School. We Are Building It Together,” highlighted the social responsibility message of the organization.

Music Club Added Color to the Event with Its Performance

The live music performance by the Üsküdar University Music Club brought vibrancy to the event area. The songs performed by the students provided enjoyable moments for participants, creating a lively atmosphere on campus.

The event, bringing together art, music, and social solidarity, also supported students' active participation in social and cultural life.

Bazaar Proceeds to be Used for the Library in Ağrı

The bazaar organization held within the scope of the event also attracted significant interest from students and academics. In the bazaar area, students' handmade knitted keychains, various design products, storybooks, and food and beverage stands were available.

It was announced that all proceeds from the sales, which continued for two days, would be used for the construction of the library to be established in Ağrı Ortaca Village Primary School.
