A platform bringing together universities of the Turkic world
The Turkic Universities Union (TÜRKÜNİB) operates as a prestigious union that brings together prominent higher education institutions in Turkic-speaking countries under one roof. The Union has core objectives such as encouraging knowledge and experience sharing among its members, developing joint research projects, and increasing student and academician mobility. Numerous respected universities from Turkey, as well as Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and Hungary, are under the umbrella of TÜRKÜNİB.
The Union establishes a strong interaction network among Turkic world universities through its work on issues such as joint degree programs, academic exchange projects, development of quality assurance systems in education, and joint scientific publications.
