Over the past year, 130,000 people have taken the test, and since the start of the official preference period on July 30, an additional 17,500 candidates have benefited from it. Having already shed light on the futures of 1,750,000 young people, the test enables undecided candidates to discover their potential, while providing a clear indicator of career alignment for those who have already made their choice. This strong interest demonstrates just how crucial the test is as a guide for candidates.

Discover your profession based on your personality type in just 10 minutes

So, how does this test work? Scientifically known as the “Holland Vocational Preference Scoring Scale,” the test maps your personality by asking you 90 simple questions, to which you respond with “I like” or “I don’t like.”

Based on the Holland Vocational Preference Inventory, this 90-question test analyzes your personality profile through simple yet effective questions and directs you to one of six main types:

Realistic: Practical individuals who enjoy working with their hands (Engineering, Agriculture, etc.)

Investigative: Those who enjoy observation, research, and problem-solving (Scientist, Doctor, etc.)

Artistic: Creative, artistic, and original individuals (Architect, Designer, Musician, etc.)

Social: Those who enjoy helping and teaching others (Teacher, Psychologist, Social Worker, etc.)

Enterprising: Individuals who enjoy persuading, managing, and leading (Manager, Lawyer, Marketer, etc.)

Conventional: Those who work in an orderly, rule-abiding, and detail-oriented manner (Accountant, Banker, etc.)

In this way, undecided candidates can discover their own potential and hidden talents, while those who have already decided can scientifically confirm how well their chosen profession matches their profile.

Guidance beyond test results

Üsküdar University also offers candidates the opportunity to discuss their results online with expert preference advisors, making sure they know they are not alone in making one of the most important decisions of their lives.
