Still a student, but the company he founded receives 3 million orders

Psychology 4th-year student Yusuf Burak Mudu founded a technology company with a project he developed in his 2nd year, within the scope of the Entrepreneurship and Project Culture course, which is highly valued by Üsküdar University Management and Founding Rector, psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan.

Mudu, a student of the Youth Entrepreneurship Club of the Department of Health, Culture and Sports, received an offer for 3 million product orders from national and international companies for his product with R&D and innovation content. He founded Bramhers, a technology company consisting of a 300-square-meter medical gas outlet R&D, innovation, production, and assembly line. While the young entrepreneur provides employment for 6 people, he aims to strengthen his business with a KOSGEB R&D and innovation project application.

Intense interest from healthcare institutions…

Üsküdar University Young Brains Academy Project Coordinator Dr. Nebiye Yaşar stated, “Mudu’s project is one of the 41 young entrepreneurs we selected for our project ‘The Floor is Yours, Youth: Entrepreneurship Stories of Young Entrepreneurs’,” adding that the medical gas outlet he developed is highly demanded by hospitals and healthcare institutions.

Making statements about his future vision, Mudu stated that the main goal of Bramhers Technology Company is to market various improved medical devices to more healthcare institutions and hospitals in the coming years.

Same quality as imported ones, and cheaper too

The medical gas outlet, Mudu’s first venture, is a product imported from abroad at high prices. In domestic production, the product, which cannot meet the desired international standards, fills a large gap in the market. Mudu stated that he manufactured the medical gas outlet prototype, emphasizing that it is of the same quality and cheaper than similar imported products in our country, and is originally designed to meet international standards. Mudu also stressed that he wants to contribute to our country with a competitive, internationally compliant, and high-value-added product in the medical market.

Prevents rooms from running out of gas…

Young entrepreneur Yusuf Burak Mudu provided the following information about the features that distinguish his product from others on the market:

“The designed medical gas outlet can be maintained without shutting down the central gas lines, thanks to its valve system. This feature prevents many patient rooms from being simultaneously without gas by closing the central valve system, thus preventing risks for patients. Furthermore, its special design requires less force, which increases the lifespan of both medical devices and medical gas outlets, and reduces associated costs in hospitals to the lowest possible level. The detachment of the medical device’s probe from the outlet with a single finger force applied from any point on our medical gas outlet’s push button has been achieved through its unique design.”
