The event, held at Üsküdar University Çarşı Campus Emirnebi-1 conference hall, was attended by Üsküdar University Rector's Advisor, Head of Social Work Department, Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. İsmail Barış, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Karatay, Asst. Prof. Daniela Macı, and Asst. Prof. Dragos Darabaneanu.

In the program, which attracted great interest, the impact of Romania's European Union accession process on social service policies was discussed in detail.

In the presentation titled 'Children Under State Protection', the transformations in child protection systems were particularly emphasized. Comprehensive information was also provided to the participants regarding the history, current situation, and possible future developments of social service practices in Romania.

Social service models discussed
At the event, which served as an important source of information for students studying social work, the living conditions of children under state protection, the challenges they face, and the social service models developed in this field were discussed.
