Prof. Dr. Tarhan: “People are calling, believing. They are scamming citizens."
In his statement on the matter, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan emphasized the seriousness of the fraud and the danger it poses to public health, stating, "A company I don't know at all is trying to sell food supplements using my name and photo. People are calling, believing. I am also unaware of the existence of any evidence-based research indicating that such products, marketed with phrases like 'completely herbal', treat mental health problems."
Tarhan warned, “For problems related to your mental health, always consult an expert psychiatrist or psychologist. Do not determine a treatment method based on advertisements you see on social media. Verifying from multiple sources is extremely important to prevent exposure to misleading or incorrect information.”
