An awareness event was organized within the scope of “World Epilepsy Awareness Day” in cooperation with the Electroneurophysiology Program of Üsküdar University Vocational School of Health Services (VSHS) and the Electroneurophysiology Club. The event, hosted by Acıbadem University, aimed to increase social awareness of epilepsy, question prejudices related to the disease, and develop an empathy-based perspective.

Social awareness targeted in epilepsy awareness!


Within the scope of the event, students accompanied by Instructor Recep Yılmaz, Head of the Electroneurophysiology Program at Üsküdar University, visited Acıbadem University.
The students had the opportunity to visit the stand set up in the event area and examine the information efforts regarding epilepsy on site.

The short film screening aimed to increase social awareness and empathy
Later, a short film was screened to increase social awareness of epilepsy, question prejudices related to the disease, and develop an empathy-based perspective. The event aimed to increase the participants' level of awareness on the subject.


Contribution made to awareness-raising efforts
The event not only increased the students' professional awareness but also contributed to the dissemination of accurate information about epilepsy in society.
The event concluded with the interaction and sharing of the participants.
