According to the ranking conducted by Scimago Rankings using the Scopus database, Üsküdar Üniversitesi ranked among the top 10 foundation universities in Turkey in the "Research Index" as of 2022. Üsküdar Üniversitesi became the 2nd most improved foundation university in 2022 with its remarkable development in the innovation index, and also ranked 2nd for its work in basic sciences.
As of 2023, Üsküdar Üniversitesi is among the top 10 foundation universities in Turkey in the "Research Index" ranking.

According to the ranking developed from information in the Scopus® database (Elsevier B.V.) by SCImago Journal & Country Rank, which combines three key indicators: research performance, innovation outputs, and social impact with web visibility, Üsküdar Üniversitesi achieved remarkable success.
Accordingly, as of 2022, Üsküdar Üniversitesi;
- ranked 13th among 132 universities in Turkey and 4th among foundation universities in the "Research Index" ranking,
- ranked 47th among 134 universities in Turkey and 9th among foundation universities in the "Research Index" ranking as of 2023.

Üsküdar Üniversitesi, which ranked in the top 10 among foundation universities in Turkey in the research index, became the 2nd most improved foundation university in 2022 with its remarkable development in the innovation index.
When examining Üsküdar Üniversitesi's research focus, it is observed that publication frequency is distributed across health sciences, basic sciences, and engineering, with studies in health sciences having a higher impact value.
