A cooperation protocol was signed between Üsküdar Üniversitesi and ATABAY Kimya Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. The protocol, signed between Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, and ATABAY İlaç Board Member Doğan Taşkent, covers cooperation opportunities in the field of science.
The protocol signing ceremony, held at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Central Campus Senate Hall, was attended by Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and Üsküdar Üniversitesi Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, and Head of the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics (English) at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Prof. Dr. Tunç Çatal.
Increasing Drug and R&D Activities is Targeted
In this cooperation, which aims to increase and develop drug and R&D activities, it is also aimed to contribute to the training of human resources for research and development studies in the pharmaceutical industry by involving students in these activities.
Within the scope of this cooperation, which enables undergraduate and graduate students to collaborate in both academic and industrial R&D studies and ensures the mutual transfer of scientific knowledge, it is aimed to develop new and equivalent products and provide a higher contribution to the national economy by creating added value.
