The New Issue of SABİTEK Has Been Published!

The Journal of Health Sciences and Technologies (SABİTEK), the official publication organ of the Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences, met with its readers with its third volume, second issue of 2026. The new issue, which brings together current research in the field of health and technology, features five scientific studies ranging from children's rights to health insurance, from the development of children with dyslexia to clinical safety in pregnancy, and to artificial intelligence-supported nursing practices. The peer-reviewed and open-access journal continues to support the sharing of scientific knowledge.

Üsküdar University continues to contribute to the production of academic knowledge in the field of health and health technologies through its scientific publishing activities. The Journal of Health Sciences and Technologies, the official publication organ of the University's Faculty of Health Sciences, brought together researchers, health professionals, and academics with scientific studies from different disciplines in its newly published issue.

The peer-reviewed scientific electronic journal, publishing in Turkish and English, aims to evaluate research related to health and health technologies within the framework of scientific principles and publication ethics, and to discuss them on a scientific platform. The journal is published twice a year (January-July).

Five Scientific Studies Featured in the New Issue

A total of five studies, comprising four research articles and one review, were published in SABİTEK's third volume, second issue of 2026. Bringing together different research areas, the issue offers a wide variety of topics, from health services to child development, from clinical practices to health technologies.

Featured studies:

-Children's Rights in the Digital World: A Scale Development Study for Middle School Students: Research prepared by NPİSTANBUL Hastanesi Child Development Dr. Aslıhan Yaşar and Child Development Department Asst. Prof. Pınar Demir Asma addresses children's rights in the digital world.

-Structure, Development, and Current Status Assessment of Health Insurance in Iraq: The study prepared by Zahraa Al-sabea and Advisor to the Rector Mehmet Zelka evaluates the health insurance system in Iraq.

-Investigation of Fine Motor Skills, Quality of Life, and Parental Stress in Children with Dyslexia: A Cross-Sectional Study: The study by İrem Doğan, Occupational Therapy Department Research Asst. Fatma Demir and Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences A. Aktuğ Ertekin examines the development of children with dyslexia and variables related to family experiences.

-Acute Maternal and Fetal Hemodynamic Effects of Sublingual Nifedipine in Hypertensive Pregnancies: Clinical Safety Assessment: The research prepared by Neşe Hayırlıoğlu, Ramazan Dansuk, Cem Turan, and Teymur Bornaun focuses on clinical safety in hypertensive pregnancies.

-Innovative Approaches in Nursing Care: Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, and Robot Technologies: The review prepared by Naciye Esra Koyuncu, Ayşenur Demir Küçükköseler, and Serap Sayar addresses the use of informatics, artificial intelligence, and robot technologies in nursing care.

Interdisciplinary Knowledge Sharing in Health and Technology…

The new issue of the journal brings together different topics such as children's rights, healthcare systems, developmental processes, clinical practices, and digital technologies. This diversity allows scientific studies in the field of health to be approached through different disciplines and for research results to be shared with academic circles.

SABİTEK aims to contribute to knowledge sharing among researchers by supporting the publication and discussion of scientific studies in the field of health and technology.

Open Access and Free Scientific Publishing

In line with its open-access policy, SABİTEK provides online access to published scientific studies. No fees are requested during the article submission, evaluation, and publication stages. Studies prepared in Turkish or English are evaluated within the framework of the journal's scientific evaluation and publication ethics principles.

As part of Üsküdar University Faculty of Health Sciences' scientific publishing activities, SABİTEK continues to contribute to scientific knowledge production and sharing by supporting the accessibility of research in the fields of health and technology.
