In cooperation with Üsküdar University and Şişli Municipality, a seminar titled “I Am Aging Healthily, I Am Aging Happily” was held. Asst. Prof. Remziye Keskin, Assistant Director of Üsküdar University Institute of Social Sciences and Head of Applied Psychology Department, Asst. Prof. Zeynep Gümüş Demir from the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and Lecturer, Expert Psychologist İdil Arasan Doğan from the Department of Psychology, Institute of Social Sciences participated in the event, which was held within the scope of ‘Respect for the Elderly Week’.
The seminar, which attracted great interest, was held at the Şişli Municipality Nazım Hikmet Cultural Center and Art House.

Within the scope of the seminar;

Asst. Prof. Zeynep Gümüş Demir from the Department of Psychology, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, presented on “Psychological Changes and Social Support in Old Age”,
and Lecturer, Expert Psychologist İdil Arasan Doğan from the Department of Psychology, Institute of Social Sciences, delivered a presentation on “The Aging Brain and Protective Factors”.
Developments regarding aging were shared during the seminar.
Following the presentations, questions about aging and old age were answered.
The seminar concluded with wishes and hopes for healthy aging.
