Üsküdar University Research Application Centers Evaluation Meeting was held. The opening speeches of the meeting were delivered by Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, who is responsible for Research Application Centers. Strategic issues were discussed at the meeting attended by Vice Rectors, Rector Advisors, Faculty Deans, Center Directors, and department academicians.

Ideas regarding the new academic year were exchanged at the meeting held in the Kuleli Hall of the Central Campus.

Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör: “These centers can be made to carry more importance”

Üsküdar University Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör said; “Academic units should collaborate with relevant research centers. Connecting with clubs is also an important issue here. These centers can be made to carry more importance in terms of scientific, social, and cultural activities. During events, center directors and club presidents can work in collaboration to organize various scientific activities within the centers. In this way, centers can be made more dynamic, and planning can be done together with center directors.”

Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy: “Student clubs provide significant support to research centers”

Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, responsible for Research Application Centers, said; “Each research application center has a regulation published in the official gazette, and it must operate in accordance with the articles specified in this regulation. The legal regulation grants center directors extensive independence and leadership authority. Furthermore, each research center has Turkish and English websites. Student clubs, on the other hand, provide significant support to research centers. We will welcome the activities, meetings, and projects of the research application centers regarding the fight against drugs.”

Within the scope of the meeting, certain topics were discussed, and what could be done about these topics was addressed.

At the same time, activities that can be carried out in the new academic year were also discussed.
