Senate members visited laboratories at NP Health campus

While candidates experienced the excitement of preference with the announcement of YKS results, Üsküdar Üniversitesi completed orientation programs for candidates. Üsküdar Üniversitesi, opening its doors to candidates within the scope of Preference and Promotion Days to be held between July 20 and August 8, is on the field with its senate members and academics. Among them, Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, and accompanying senate members visited the NP Health Campus and its laboratories.  

Üsküdar academics, who held their weekly routine senate meeting this week at NP Health Campus, visited laboratories within the scope of preference and promotion days. 


Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Rector Prof. Dr. Nazife Güngör, and accompanying senate members and academics from various departments toured the entire health campus.


The delegation toured the laboratories for Perfusion, Midwifery, Nutrition Principles, Nursing, Ergotherapy, Audiology, Speech-Language Therapy, Anatomy, Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation, and the Audiology rehabilitation unit.

Realistic Birth Simulated in Midwifery Laboratory

During the visit, the Midwifery Department's Mother-Newborn Birth Simulator drew attention. Prof. Dr. Güler Cimete, Head of the Midwifery Department at the Faculty of Health Sciences, provided information about the midwifery laboratory and its operations. Within the scope of a Scientific Research Project (BAP), a new, state-of-the-art educational application, the Mother-Newborn Birth Simulator in the Midwifery Laboratory was used to simulate the most realistic birth. 


After the birth simulation with the mannequin, Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan emphasized that this technique is a first for universities and that it is being implemented so comprehensively at Üsküdar Üniversitesi.
