At Üsküdar University's Vocational School of Health Services (SHMYO), a quality meeting was held with students. SHMYO academicians met with program student representatives to evaluate quality processes. During the meeting, the role of student feedback in enhancing education quality was highlighted, and the contributions of accreditation to programs and students were discussed. In the gathering aimed at strengthening the student-centered education approach, the continuous improvement of quality processes with the participation of all stakeholders was emphasized.

Quality Meeting Held at SHMYO

The meeting held at Üsküdar University's Çarşı Campus, Emirnebi Conference Hall, was attended by SHMYO Director Dr. Faculty Member Ömer Faruk Karasakal, Assistant Directors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Feride Kulalı Özdek and Lecturer Esad Sadık Demirtaş, among others, as well as academicians and program student representatives.

Feedback from students is very important…
Speaking at the opening of the meeting, Dr. Faculty Member Ömer Faruk Karasakal stated that feedback from students is extremely important in quality processes, and that the quality of education can be further improved with students' opinions and contributions.

The quality process should be embraced by all stakeholders
SHMYO Quality Commission President, Health Institutions Management Program Head Dr. Faculty Member Öznur Karaoğlu, in her presentation at the meeting, discussed the contributions of accreditation to our programs and students, and underlined that quality processes should be embraced and valued by all stakeholders.
With the traditionally held meeting, the sustainability of the student-centered education approach was prioritized and the continuous improvement of quality processes was deemed important.
