The book, published by İnkılap Kitabevi, examines human and social behaviors through examples of epidemic processes in Turkish and world history, revealing the connections between current political attitudes and the psychopolitics of society. This academic work, which makes a significant contribution to the discipline of political psychology, opens up discussion on the historical depiction of epidemics, philosophers' views on epidemics, the relationship between nation-state/national identity and epidemics, the existence of global capitalism in the context of epidemics, the effects of the epidemic theme on audiences in visual arts, especially cinema, and the concepts of subjectivity, prohibition, isolation, loneliness, old age, and normalcy in relation to superstructure institutions during the epidemic process.
