Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zihni Sungur joined the Üsküdar family

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zihni Sungur, one of Turkey's leading psychiatry specialists, is now at Üsküdar University. Sungur, one of Turkey's renowned figures with countless national and international achievements, has started teaching at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, English Psychology Department.

Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zihni Sungur is known for his expertise, particularly in the fields of Cognitive (Behavioral) Therapies and Couple and Sex Therapies. 
He previously served as the president of the European Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapies (EABCT) and was the first non-US president of the International Association for Cognitive Psychotherapy (IACP). He was also awarded the 'gold medal' by the European Federation of Sexology.

Prof. Dr. Sungur, who has held significant positions in the Psychiatry Department of Medical Faculties at various universities for many years, is now sharing his vast knowledge and experience with Üsküdar University students in his new role.
