Şile District Governor Mehmet Nebi Kaya met with prospective students. Kaya emphasized important points regarding career choice; “We have friends with very successful careers. It could be medicine, engineering, or different fields. If one doesn't have a love or passion for the profession they choose, no matter how great a career or opportunity they have in that profession, it won't bring happiness or peace. Therefore, I believe the greatest benefit of this wonderful organization will be to guide you in choosing the right field, and I think you should make the most of it.”

Şile District National Education Director Dursun Teyran Gave Advice to Students

Later, Şile District National Education Director Dursun Teyran gave advice to the students and drew attention to the importance of the event. Teyran extended his thanks to those who contributed to the organization.

Prof. Dr. Türker Tekin Ergüzel: “We should guide our children towards things machines cannot do.”

Üsküdar University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Türker Tekin Ergüzel made evaluations regarding the reflection of today's high-tech products on career choices.

Ergüzel; “Where high-tech products are present, it is not meaningful for us to compete or struggle with these devices. We need to run our education systems and models focusing on the softer skills that these devices cannot perform. We need to impart much more unique skills. Information doesn't teach us this. That's why we should guide our children towards sports, music, art, or things that machines cannot do. If they are doing better than us, we need to sit down and think. Our education system needs to completely focus on these soft skills,” he said.

Following the opening speeches, the first session of the event began.

As software developers, we always talk about inventing things in the first place, and what we want in software is for you to find a need. Now you are using many existing systems, but they might have deficiencies when you use them. We don't necessarily expect you to create something from scratch, but you can also add a new extension to something that is lacking,” she said.

Two, how does this body behave and express itself?  Three, what are the situations it cannot express, what are the disorders? These are always the foundation of the theoretical side of the job. Just as you cannot become a chef without entering the kitchen and cooking, you cannot become a Speech and Language Therapist without practical application,” he said.

After the first session concluded, the final session began, and candidates' questions were answered.

Today, it's not just the designer of printed media, but also many non-printed media and platforms, and I believe it possesses a very strong argument capable of managing and directing the perceptions of many people. We have a production or an idea, and you can share that idea with many people. Sometimes, while walking down the street, you can be the art director for the design of a very large advertising campaign. Sometimes, perhaps you can produce something in a much smaller area. Since it can also include animation, it is shaped by 3D modeling, two- or three-dimensional design, or innovations coming with artificial intelligence. Visual communication design is a very enjoyable field,” she said.
