TEDX Uskudar University 2022 will take place on Friday, May 20, 2022. Among the speakers of TEDX Uskudar University, which will be held under the title “Changing Human, Changing Science,” are Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, Habertürk TV presenter and columnist Kübra Par, film producer, screenwriter, and director Birol Güven, and academic writer Prof. Dr. Ozan Bahar. The topics to be addressed include “Why Do Smart People Do Stupid Things?”, “Change”, “Give Up, Surrender”, “Don’t Give Up!”, “Genetically Modified Humans”, “Metaverse”, and “Humanoid Robot”.
The countdown has begun for TEDX Uskudar University 2022, which will take place at Üsküdar Üniversitesi NP Dentistry and Health Campus, Ibn-i Sina Auditorium. TEDX Uskudar University, to be held under the title “Changing Human, Changing Science,” will host many important experts in their fields.
Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan will participate with his talk “Why Do Smart People Do Stupid Things?”, and Habertürk TV presenter and columnist Kübra Par with her talk “Change”.
Film producer, screenwriter, and director Birol Güven with his talk “Give Up, Surrender”, and Prof. Dr. İbrahim Özdemir, Dean of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, with his speech titled “Understanding Climate, Taking Ownership of Our Future” will also be present. Prof. Dr. Ozan Bahar from Muğla Sıtkı Koçman Üniversitesi will give a speech titled “Don’t Give Up!” at TEDX Uskudar University.
Dr. Cihan Taştan, Lecturer at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, will speak on “Transhumanism: Genetically Modified Humans”; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Aylin Tutgun Ünal from Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication, Department of Journalism, on “How Will the Metaverse Transform Education?”; and Dr. Ihab Elaff, Lecturer at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Computer Engineering, will take part with his talk titled "‘Arslan’ Humanoid Robot / ‘Arslan’ Humanoid Robot".
TEDX Uskudar University 2022 will also feature author and Spec. Psy. Cons. Deniz Altınay with her talk “Where Did You Come From, Why Did You Come, Where Will You Go?” and philosopher Pelin Dilara Çolak with her talk “What Will I Do With This Life In My Hands?”.
