Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan: “We will discuss bipolar thinking”

Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, stated that the “Akıl, Beyin, Kültür” program is a different kind of duality program, saying, “In this program, we will talk about and discuss bipolar thinking. We will discuss the dynamic balance of opposites like black and white, light and darkness. We are present as three guests in this program. Our esteemed Prof. Dr. Deniz Ülke Arıboğan is with us as a social scientist, and our esteemed Prof. Dr. Sultan Tarlacı as a neuroscientist. I am here as a psychist. In this program, we will not talk about individuals, but about events and concepts. We will try to read the background of events and concepts. We will try to analyze not the visible causes, but the invisible ones. Therefore, this will be a program that breaks some molds. There will be intellectual objection, intellectual rebellion. Thus, we aim to ensure the understanding and discovery of new information and new sources.”
