Established within Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication, the Animation Laboratory offers practical opportunities to students studying in this field. Students now have access to a new laboratory with advanced technological infrastructure. Assoc. Prof. Dr. İpek Fatma Çevik, Head of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Cartoon and Animation Department, stated that the laboratory could compete with Turkey's best animation companies and produce world-standard animations, adding that a learning environment has been created for department students where they can compete with the world in animation production.
Established within Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Communication, the Animation Laboratory will enable students studying in this field to perform their practical exercises in two and three-dimensional animation programs at an advanced level.
The laboratory, equipped with computers and graphic tablets featuring above-standard hardware and software required for animation production, will contribute to Üsküdar Üniversitesi Cartoon and Animation Department students' development of their theoretical knowledge in practical application.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. İpek Fatma Çevik, Head of Üsküdar Üniversitesi Cartoon and Animation Department, stated that a learning environment has been created for Cartoon and Animation Department students where they can compete with the world in animation production.
Digital design software training is provided
Assoc. Prof. Dr. İpek Fatma Çevik said that the newly opened Animation Laboratory also provides training for Autodesk Maya, Cinema 4D, Zbrush, Blender, Substance Painter, Adobe After Effects, and many other digital design software preferred in animation production.
Laboratory with strong technological infrastructure
Providing information about the equipment in the laboratory, Assoc. Prof. Dr. İpek Fatma Çevik said, “The Cartoon and Animation Laboratory features 31 advanced technology Work Stations (work computers) and 32-inch Full-HD computer monitors, 31 professional graphic tablets, a projector, 2 green screens, and a meeting room to be used for stages such as student projects, scriptwriting, and pre-production.”
