Head of the Department of Internal Medical Sciences, Faculty of Medicine, Üsküdar Üniversitesi, and Head of the Department of Medical Pharmacology, Prof. Dr. Tayfun Uzbay, was elected to the Central Committee of the Turkish Pharmacists' Association at its 43rd Ordinary Grand Congress.

At the 43rd Ordinary Grand Congress organized by the Turkish Pharmacists' Association this year, speakers also addressed the different dimensions of the Covid-19 pandemic, its effects on healthcare systems and healthcare workers, the struggle against it and the stage reached in this struggle, and the transformations it created in social structures and our individual lives.
Prof. Dr. Tayfun Uzbay, who was elected to the TEB Central Committee at the congress held with the main theme of “Health and Pharmacy in the Shadow of the Pandemic,” expressed his happiness on his Twitter account with these words: “At the 43rd Ordinary Grand Congress, which I attended as an Istanbul delegate, I raised the bar and was also elected to the TEB Central Committee. Continuing to work to meet the delegates' expectation for an ethical, transparent, and accountable administration. I stand by public health in all matters related to medicine.”
