Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, made a statement regarding comments on Prof. Dr. Cenk Kıraklı’s post on the social media platform Twitter.

Prof. Dr. Tarhan: “The subject I addressed in the mind control chapter of my Psychological Warfare book is being distorted to create a different perception”
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that “in the comments made on Prof. Dr. Kıraklı’s tweet post regarding Corona Virus and vaccine information on his personal Twitter account, some social media users caused information pollution by distorting my statements on the subject in the brain control chapter of my book titled ‘Psychological Warfare’.”
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that vaccine efforts are the most effective measure against the Covid-19 disease that has affected the whole world, emphasizing that he himself has been vaccinated. Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan stated that vaccine studies are safe and that individuals should get vaccinated for public health, and citizens should assist state institutions in the fight against the epidemic.
Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan emphasized that the information in the ‘Brain Control’ chapter of his book ‘Psychological Warfare’ is not related to vaccines.

The ‘Brain Control’ chapter from Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan's book ‘Psychological Warfare’ is below:
Parapsychology is a branch of science that helps us perceive certain events beyond our five senses and understand some things related to the past and future. Today, it is known that the 'Mind Research Center' in the USA, directly affiliated with the White House, is active. They are also concerned with psychological weapon stockpiles and new methods of entering warfare. The invisible battlefield of this war is the human mind. States are trying to present their ideological and political systems to the world and manipulate events using parapsychological weapons.
Mathematician Prof. John G. Taylor, a faculty member at King's College, University of London, states in his book 'The Future of the Mind' that 'We can now control many mental states, almost entirely, through physical means.' Today we are on a side road of the mind revolution, and brighter developments are expected. According to the new understanding, powerful methods have been developed to control human emotions, behaviors, and intelligence.
Teachings such as Yoga, Sufism, Zen Buddhism, and Tibetan Buddhism show that the mind also has an intuitive side beyond its normal functioning. The positive mechanism of meditative practices in esoteric sciences has gradually begun to be understood.
High-energy physics and mechanics in quantum electrodynamics show that subatomic particles and elements behave like particles. A photon, a beam of light, is a massless energy. Quantum theory refers to the theory behind chemistry. It is known that there are electrical signals in our brain related to sound, smell, sight, and color.
The mechanical worldview has now begun to give way to the idea that the mind is the home and birthplace of many things. In medicine, a new concept has even emerged: ‘Thought-Oriented Medicine.’ Whatever a person thinks, the brain produces appropriate signals and messages. The question ‘Can we read these signals and messages?’ has now entered the realm of science. The limits of imagination, mind reading, and thought control have also become areas that science is addressing. Experiments conducted on Buddhist monks showed that a region in their brains was activated, and their personality boundaries disappeared the moment the subjects felt integrated with the universe. Researchers even named this region the ‘God center.’ (Newsweek May 19, 2001)
Politicians and multinational corporations are eagerly awaiting scientific ways to enter the human brain and press the ‘consume’ or ‘believe’ button. However, since people do not behave according to mathematical formulas, brain imaging technology still has a long way to go.
