Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy's New Book Released to Readers

Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy, Vice Rector of Üsküdar University, Director of the Institute of Addiction and Forensic Sciences, and Member of the United Nations International Narcotics Control Board (INCB), has released her latest book, "Kusursuz Casus Yoktur" (No Perfect Spy Exists), which has taken its place on the shelves.

Written by world-renowned forensic scientist and criminologist Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy and published by Doğan Yayıncılık, the book "Kusursuz Casus Yoktur" (No Perfect Spy Exists) has met its readers. The book illuminates the mysterious world of spies, intelligence methods, and how they are caught.

Until now, Prof. Dr. Sevil Atasoy meticulously examined and narrated how notorious murderers were brought to justice and how their crimes were solved. In "Kusursuz Casus Yoktur" (No Perfect Spy Exists), Atasoy addresses how spies are caught with the same meticulousness, discussing everything from Cold War double agents to intelligence world legends, from brothels that became Nazi espionage centers to homosexual spies, and the secret stories of intelligence agencies.

About the Book:

How Cicero, the valet of the British ambassador in Ankara, spied for the Germans during World War II; how the Nazis gathered intelligence through a brothel in Berlin; how East Germany conducted espionage in West Germany using 'Romeos' who seduced women; that Mata Hari was more a tragic hero than a spy; the methods Russians employed to eliminate political rivals, including the use of radioactive substances; and the veil of secrecy surrounding Jeffrey Epstein's death and his connections are all discussed in this book.

“It is not an exception for spies to resort to sexuality. Intelligence agencies, aiming to obtain information at any cost, utilize men who can seduce women or women who can seduce men.

Female and male spies who exploit their sexuality to set traps, blackmail, and access national secrets appear in every era and every country. Even if their goals and methods differ, their commonality is singular: Deception.”
