‘How can I live happily?’
In the foreword written for the Russian edition of the book, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan expressed the importance of values today with the following sentences; “Psychology was previously approached within the framework of ‘Thought, Emotion, and Behavior’. Today, third-generation metacognitive psychotherapy techniques also encompassed ‘Beliefs, Values, and Cultures’. The development of Positive Psychology also created the need to define the example of the ‘Good Human Model’. While searching for an answer to the question of how a person can be both happy and successful in this world, they were seeking an appropriate answer to the question ‘How can I live happily?’ for this era. This work is the product of an effort related to the human values that a person needs to acquire and cultivate for their material and spiritual happiness.”
