Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan attended the 4th Rational and Scientific Supplement Summit. Delivering a presentation titled “Personalized Treatment in Neuroinflammation” at the summit, Tarhan stated that one form of harm is leaving the patient without treatment. Tarhan also emphasized that the most expensive treatment is ineffective treatment.

The “4th Rational and Scientific Supplement Summit,” held at Titanic Mardan Palace between February 21-23, was organized this year with the theme of “Neuroinflammation.”
At the summit, the causes and solutions for inflammation in the body, as well as neurological problems, were discussed in detail.

In his presentation titled “Personalized Treatment in Neuroinflammation” at the summit, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan emphasized that the priority should be health medicine, not disease medicine.

“Leaving the patient without treatment is also a form of harm”
In the program, which garnered significant interest for Tarhan, he stated that leaving the patient without treatment is a form of harm, and also drew attention to health negligence.

Memorial Antalya Hospital Visited
Following the summit, Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan and Üsküdar Üniversitesi TRGENMER Director Dr. Lecturer Cihan Taştan visited Memorial Antalya Hospital.
During the visit, R&D and clinical collaboration efforts were also discussed with Dr. Güner Yaman, Memorial R&D and Clinical Research Group Manager, and Prof. Dr. Fatih Demirkan, Hematologist at Memorial Antalya Hospital.
Dr. Taştan also gave a presentation on the second day of the summit
TRGENMER Director Dr. Lecturer Cihan Taştan also delivered a presentation titled “The Relationship Between Immunity and Neuroinflammation and What We Have Learned from Space” on the second day of the summit.
Taştan’s presentation garnered significant interest.
