Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector, Psychiatrist Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, met with Former Minister of Health Mehmet Müezzinoğlu at the Traditional 'Divan of Friends' meeting. The Divan of Friends, which saw the participation of important figures from many professional groups, especially from the business, media, culture-arts, and bureaucracy worlds, took place on Friday, October 29, at the (UMAD) International Muslim Scholars Solidarity Association within the scope of Covid-19 measures.

Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan attended the 'Divan of Friends' meeting!

Following the opening speech by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Karataş, UMAD President Abdulvahap Ekinci gave a presentation summarizing UMAD's activities and objectives. The theme of the meeting was determined as 'Love,' and the members of the Divan of Friends made evaluations regarding the importance of loving for Allah without self-interest, brotherhood, and affection.
At the meeting, where the importance of UMAD for the Muslim world was emphasized, hymn artist Mesut Yavaş from Bursa, UMAD Center Director Sadettin Ekici, and Op. Dr. Halil İbrahim Erbıyık performed beautiful hymns and odes.
Among the participants were Former Minister of Health Dr. Mehmet Müezzinoğlu, 22nd-23rd Term AK Party Erzurum Deputy and Birûnî University Faculty of Dentistry Dean Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Gülyurt, (MÜSİAD) Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association 3rd Term President Albayrak Group CEO Prof. Dr. Ömer Bolat, and Lawyer Yusuf Yıldırım.
The meeting concluded with the recitation of the Holy Quran on behalf of the deceased relatives of the Divan of Friends members and a prayer offered by Prof. Dr. Mustafa Karataş.
