Mutual exchange of ideas took place at the symposium held in South Korea, attended by esteemed scientists from around the world as speakers.
Prof. Dr. Nesrin Kartal Özer participated as an invited speaker at the 53rd Symposium of The Korean Academy of Science and Technology, 'New Insights on the Landscape of Redox Signaling in Human Diseases,' held in Seoul, Korea. Özer delivered a speech titled 'High Cholesterol Induced Endoplasmic Reticulum Stress Signaling: Role in the Progression of Cardiovascular Diseases' at the symposium.

Furthermore, Prof. Dr. Nesrin Kartal Özer, who participated as an invited guest at the SFRR-Asia 2022 'New Paradigm for Research on Oxidative Stress&Inflammation' meeting organized by Seoul National University in South Korea, also delivered a speech titled 'Cholesterol impact on cellular stress promoting nonalcoholic steatohepatitis' at the meeting, where she served as session chair.
