Prof. Dr. Mehmet Mehdi Ergüzel, who has made significant contributions to the field with his works in Turkish Language and Literature, made a meaningful donation to Üsküdar Üniversitesi on the anniversary of the Conquest of Istanbul. On the occasion of this special date, he donated exactly 1453 books to the university library. Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector and Chairman of the Board of Trustees Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan also gifted Ergüzel a special set of his own authored works, signed by him. Prof. Dr. Ergüzel stated that this donation was one of the most auspicious choices in his professional life spanning over half a century.


Prof. Dr. Mehmet Mehdi Ergüzel, known for his works in Turkish Language and Literature, stated that placing the books in a house of science was the most correct choice, and that the donated works were predominantly in social sciences.

In response to this meaningful donation, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Founding Rector Prof. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan also gifted Prof. Dr. Ergüzel a special set of his own authored works, signed by him. Ergüzel expressed his hope that these publications would be beneficial to university students and stated that this donation was one of the most auspicious choices in his professional life spanning over half a century.
