Prof. Dr. İsmail Barış, Head of the Department of Social Work at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Faculty of Health Sciences, was deemed worthy of an award by the Environmental, Education, Health and Social Aid Foundation (ÇESAV) for his successful work in the social service field to date. Barış received his award from Dr. İmren Aykut, former Minister of Labor and Social Security and one of ÇESAV's founders, and Minister Aykut stated that they always felt Prof. Dr. İsmail Barış's support and efforts in the projects initiated by the foundation.

The award ceremony took place at the Üsküdar Üniversitesi Central Campus Senate Hall with the participation of Dr. İmren Aykut, former Minister of Labor and Social Security and one of ÇESAV's founders, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Acting Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Zelka, Üsküdar Üniversitesi Secretary-General Selçuk Uysaler, and Deputy Secretary-General Asil Barış Bağ. During the award presentation, the impact and importance of Prof. Dr. İsmail Barış, who served as the Director-General of the Social Services and Child Protection Agency (SHÇEK) for a certain period, on projects organized by ÇESAV were highlighted.

Dr. İmren Aykut, one of ÇESAV's founders and former Minister of Labor and Social Security, touched upon ÇESAV's activities during the award presentation. Specifically providing information about the “Abandoned Girls Protection and Rescue Project”, Aykut stated that the project has been active for many years. Aykut pointed out that thanks to the project, over 270 girls have been prepared for life and integrated into society. Stating that there are a total of 10 homes affiliated with the foundation in Ankara, Istanbul, Izmir, and Adana, Aykut reported that 41 girls are currently housed in these homes and their education is continued in this manner.

Dr. İmren Aykut expressed her thanks to Prof. Dr. İsmail Barış, who supported ÇESAV's work and made significant contributions, especially to the “Restructuring of Children's Homes” project. She touched upon the difficulties encountered during the project process and the successes achieved as a result of these challenges. She emphasized the impact and importance of Prof. Dr. İsmail Barış, who served as the Director-General of the Social Services and Child Protection Agency (SHÇEK) for a certain period, on this project. Stating that the project activities continue successfully, Dr. İmren Aykut made statements about the girls integrated into society and their education through this effort.
The award ceremony concluded after ÇESAV presented the award to Prof. Dr. İsmail Barış and a group photo was taken.
