President of Anadolu Aydınlar Ocağı and Head of Medical Pathology Department at Üsküdar Üniversitesi Prof. Dr. İbrahim Öztek was honored with a “Letter of Thanks” signed by Minister Fuad Muradov, presented by the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Prof. Dr. İbrahim Öztek was honored with a “Letter of Thanks” signed by Minister (Sedr) Fuad Muradov, presented by the State Committee on Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Letter of Thanks stated the following:
“He is honored for his special activity in conveying the realities of Azerbaijan to the world community and in diaspora building efforts in 2020. Fuad Muradov, Sedr.”
Öztek, a national athlete for over forty years, serving as the President of numerous Combat Sports Federations in Turkey and worldwide, and as the President of the Turkish Olympian Association on global sports platforms, has also diligently worked within the framework of the Aydınlar Ocağı (Intellectuals' Hearth) he established in Azerbaijan, and the Turkey-Azerbaijan Great Brotherhood, Companionship, and Strategy Platform. Through his books, numerous columns, congresses, conferences, symposiums, and television programs, he has safeguarded Turkey's interests in historical, cultural, scientific, social, and political spheres internationally, and has equally protected and upheld Azerbaijan's interests at a high level.
He has often led his Azerbaijani brothers and sisters on issues concerning Karabakh and the Khojaly Genocide, and his books and conferences have resonated in Turkey, Azerbaijan, and worldwide, keeping the issue alive.
During the last Karabakh war, they emphasized their support for Azerbaijan, both as a civil society organization and as retired Turkish officers and combat veterans, providing morale and motivation.
